How We Bake

At The Vegan Oven, every recipe starts from the same place: our flour blend. We prepare it in-house using white rice flour, potato starch, and a touch of xanthan gum. This combination allows us to create cookies that are soft, tender, and structured, without relying on gluten or animal-based ingredients.

From there, each flavor is built with care. We use golden yellow sugar for warmth and depth, sunflower oil for a clean and balanced texture, and water as the base that brings everything together. Baking soda or baking powder is added depending on the recipe, along with salt to enhance flavor and balance sweetness.
